secrets and perfect love

I read the girl with the dragon tattoo today.
What if nobody had secrets?
What would the world be like then? Imagine if someone knew absolutely everything about you, like, everything. Every single thought you had ever had, and everything you had seen, everything you had done. That scares me. Nobody knows about everything in my life. Nobody. Imagine if you knew everything there is to know about someone. Or you could read their mind. Know what they are thinking about when you're talking, or when you come across random people on the street.

Imagine if you could hear peoples hearts in the street. If you walked along to a steady rhythm, and you found people whose hearts beat at exactly the same time as yours. Would they be your best friends? And then, one day you are walking along, and all of a sudden, above all the humming of the hearts and the murmer of the traffic and conversation, you could hear a soft melody. All your skin tingles and the hairs stand up on your neck, you feel yourself drawn towards this music. You feel as if you're falling and flying and spinning all at once. It's glorious and lovely and secret and wonderful.

Then you hear another song join it, it's coming from your chest. Your heart is singing. The music made by these two hearts is like magic and heaven and lollies and sunshine, golden liquid sunshine. The gentle notes wind around eachother, like the wind, and somehow together the music is more beautiful than life itself. The person whose heart is singing with yours is your soul mate. You know as soon as you hear the song. There is no one else in the world who fits with you as perfectly as this person. There is no anger, no fighting, and no divorce. Just the harmony of your two hearts singing forever. This is how we should fall in love.

NYC

I'm coming!!
I can't wait :) Fly out of Sydney on June 17th. Woohoo!

My Mother is a rabbit.

"...and we can have those left over burgers for tea tonight"
"what do you mean we? Mum?"
"...."
"You know very well that you wouldn't eat any burgers, you idiot"
"I...well...yeah."

haha gotta love her. Old Muz.

Tavi.

So yeah I get that she's all cute and syle-ey and everything. But why is everyone suddenly taking fashion advice from a teeny bopper? She just plays dress ups and posts the photos and talks about fashion shows. Did I miss something? About 60% of teenagers do that. What is going on?

So glad I don't have to sew everything by hand anymore!

I made this the other day, it's not perfect but it goes alright.

Our night in byron :)

I managed to steal Jas away from her family for a night and we went to the beach hotel and lala land. There was a cool band on and so many hippies haha. We met some cool people in our quest to get free drinks off people- such moochers! One guys thought I was russian and offered to take us clubbing in Sydney, no thanks. But cheers for the gin and tonic.

I wore my black dress, stockings and black boots so I looked like a freaky emo next to bright colour barbie :P

When we got home we had the best pizza ever! I will miss you when we are travelling :(

cute notes.

I want to make some and give them to random people :)

In recent news...

Arty has discovered that if you play a song on your phone and do this, it's just like a tiny rave party in your head. God he's clever.

The Velveteen Happiness.

"Velvet has a smoother, softer feel than velveteen. It also has a sheen to
it that velveteen usually doesn't."
